Mountain Mod Americana

Chelsea is a true master at her craft. Over the course of numerous years we've engaged Chelsea to systematically re-design each room of our mountain home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She has an uncanny ability to zero in very quickly on a style modality that perfectly matches what you're thinking. Even if you don't have the words for it, she finds it!

She also has a super impressive rolodex of materials, furniture pieces, artwork, and lighting fixtures that assures your house will be 100% unique. Her domain expertise is quite deep. We absolutely loved working with her and would do it again in a heartbeat! Now we just need a second house so she can design that one too.

These two are the best of both worlds - fun and professional, outdoorsy and nesty, high class and laid back. And that I now get to call them friends (I even got to go to their wedding!) and that I get to enjoy the fruits of this labor IRL is a dream come true!

They’re all about hitting up the national parks and have collected some amazing pieces of art that served up some great inspiration for this design. The goal was to give them a super inviting and cozy living space that reflected their love of both the outdoors and modern design.

But this one came with a couple unique challenges - sort out what to do with an underwhelming entrance and deal with the unsightly slate fireplace facade. Instead of trying to hide the fact that you walk straight into a railing upon entry, we opted to highlight it by custom designing a stunning walnut shelf to create a true WOW factor. Then we wrapped the fireplace facade in a gorgeous green paneling and voila! Just add amazing decor and art (and how about that rug and custom Pendleton bench cushion!!) and you’ve got yourself a space that mirrors the raddest homeowners I’ve met yet.

It’s an honor to work with them and even more so, to get to hang out in their house with them!
