When a client lets you use the bold tile you’ve been eyeballing for months

There’s a line on my new client questionnaire that asks, “When it comes to taking risks with design, which best fits you?”

A) Give me what I ask for, no more, no less.

B) Toss in something fun, worst case I say no!

C) Push me out of my comfort zone. I’m paying you to show me something new and fresh.

As we all know, the answer is ALWAYS C. And these clients definitely understood the assignment.

Me: Let’s do an entire wall in this spectacular bold tile!
Them: Yes!
Me: What if we limewash the walls in an amazing texture that continues that boldness onto the other walls??
Them: Sure!
Me: Soooo, how about we do the floors in a terracotta check with a fun pattern staggered throughout?
Them: We’re in!

Me: *dies from excitement
