A note from the artist, Stephanie Certa: I wanted to recreate the beauty of the Santa Cruz mountain landscape - that view I see every time I drive over 17, bear creek or skyline. The layered green mountains and lingering fog. The fiery sun that we’ve gotten used to seeing in recent skies was intentional.
